Soul Perception Post

So Stein has this crazy little ability called "Soul Perception." Basically, he can look at a person's soul with it.

At the surface level (when he's not actively concentrating it) he can sense other souls around her buzzing and moving and such, and it works almost like infared vision would, where everyone's kind of just a blob. When he is actively concentrating, he's able to see detail! The color, the shape and surface traits of that person's personality is the basics of it, including if a person is a more evil sort.

Souls show up like so to him.

Besides having cute little faces and personality traits, souls also have color. The color depends on the person, obviously, and though purple and red souls are indicators of witches and kishin (or kishin eggs) respectively, it's entirely possible that humans can have those colors too, it'll just make him insta-suspicious.

He can't actually keep the "trace" pinned on them at all times, though, just when he wants to feel where they are and actively concentrating.]

What would be the most prominent traits of your character's soul? contradicting, experienced, clever, stubborn, anxious, brash... I'd imagine he's rather big considering he's a country. He's also a magical being... uses light and dark magic, so I don't know if he'd be completely green... could have some purple mixed in there. 8D;

If a malignant soul, would it have a physical effect on Stein? England's rather insane right now, driven by war, jealous, frantic. If he finds out Stein is German this could set him off?

Can Stein use Soul Perception on your character if he feels the need to? Yes he may. Derek is a Werewolf, not a human, so I don't know if that makes any difference or not.

What would be the most prominent traits of your character's soul? He is very secretive about his life, and even about what he is. Derek doesn't trust many people, but would give his life for his pack members, who are currently back in his world. He is an Alpha werewolf. With that in mind, Derek is mostly associated with the color red, given that his title gives him red eyes. His soul would probably be that color. As for size, it'd be quite bigger than a softball, due to the fact he has supernatural abilities. (I.E. healing, superspeed, agility, strength, healing powers used on others, and more to be revealed as the series goes on)

If a malignant soul, would it have a physical effect on Stein? No I don't believe so.

What would be the most prominent traits of your character's soul? She'd be blue. She's deeply caring and a bit mischievous but also a skeptic who needs evidence to believe something - once she has that evidence she'll accept it and move on quickly though, not a lot throws her off. Jane does have her auto-revive Lifey Thing and is a bit of the way up on her echeladder, so that might be reflected in the size of her soul.

If a malignant soul, would it have a physical effect on Stein? She's a nice girl! He might be able to detect a small hint of evil from the subliminal stuff from her tiaratop? But that's about all I can think of that might show up to make him double-take and it might not even show up since it's not directly part of her nature, idk.

What would be the most prominent traits of your character's soul? Fuchsia. She's bubbly, bold, bossy, and more than a bit selfish. There's also a deep negativity to her and mental instability.

If a malignant soul, would it have a physical effect on Stein? She isn't necessarily evil, but she has bouts of insanity and is unstable. Think very low key general Cthulhu mythos for the kind of crazy she carries around with her.

What would be the most prominent traits of your character's soul? It be green like his hair, probably around mid-size since he has that ability to use Ouroburos. Secretive, quiet, trickster, insecure, unstable, tries to act tough but he's a softy when you know where to push him.

If a malignant soul, would it have a physical effect on Stein? Don't think so...he's unstable but not extremely and more periodical.

Stubbornness and a secretive insecurity may be fairly prominent as well as determination, the will to fight, intelligence combined with inexperience but also a craving for approval which might be crumbling away next to growing guilt and frustration. Not sure what size a country's soul has, though while his base color is a light blue, there's also black, white and red present.

If a malignant soul, would it have a physical effect on Stein?

While Germany isn't necessarily evil, he's still WWII!Germany and reflects the current time. The good people, the bad people, the madness of war and his questionable government. So it's not a consistent but a varying insanity... Don't think it would affect him much.

What would be the most prominent traits of your character's soul? Blue, normal in size since his only supernatural ability is his MANGRIT. He does have untapped potential as the Heir of Light though, if that would have any effect. Brutally Honest, quiet, determined, caring, stubborn, with hints of silliness and loneliness

Also of note: he's a doomed alternate of John Egbert, so in the event that we ever get an OU John, there would likely be some very obvious core similarities between Jolal and John's souls.
